Greeters/Ushers
Worship Discipline

Scripture Reference

For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

Ministry Mission

To direct, to serve, to assist vistors to their destinations and to praise God from whom all blessings flow.

Our Purpose

To be a doorkeeper in the house of the Lord by directing those who are not familiar with the Mount Moriah facilities. The greeters/ushers are to make the first impression that a visitor will have of Mount Moriah and our goal is to leave a Godly impression on those that visit our facility.

Duties

  • To manage each entrance and assist those who need direction.
  • TO direct the visitors to their proper destination.
  • To display the Mount Moriah vision in greeting the each visitor and member.
  • To distribute material related to the service or meeting (i.e. bulletins, handouts, etc.)
  • To remain alert for any emergency that may arise and contacting the person(s) needed to provide proper assistance.
