Moriah and its ministries, educate, inform, inspire, evangelize and stay connected with the community.

AWANA
AWANA is an international, Bible-centered children’s and youth ministry providing local churches with weekly clubs, training, and programs for students in preschool through high school. Our goal is to equip children, teenagers, and their families, with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.

Children's Church
Children’s Church is a full worship service for children between the ages of 4 and 12. Our goal is to encourage a child’s lifetime spiritual growth. The activities included within the Children’s Church service emphasize biblical learning and scripture review of familiar Bible stories.

Christian Education
We exist to teach the uncompromised Word of God to everyone. In so doing, the Christian education needs of all age groups are assessed and programs developed to meet these needs. Through numerous ministries a venue is provided to teach, train, nurture, and prepare children and adults in God’s Word for Christian service, discipleship and spiritual growth and maturity.

Financial Peace University 2007 is a 13 week course that talks about personal finance and helps to enlightened and change behavior in the areas of saving, investing, cash flow planning and other personal finance related topics.

Married Couples Ministry

The married couples will study Love & Respect by Dr. Emerson Eggerichs in which we will discuss the Bible's commands for husbands and wives to love and respect. We will discover how to break the "Crazy Cycle" of marriage, how to energize your marriage, and how we can truly reap the rewards of marriage.

Hope For The Future
Founded in 1998, Hope For The Future assists youth in 7th through 12th grade in setting and achieving long-term educational goals. Since 1998, we have visited 30 college campuses, and explored cultural sites significant to African-Americans in Illinois, Louisiana, Alabama, Virginia, Georgia, Florida, Ohio, North Carolina, Michigan, Washington, D.C. and Maryland.

The Prayer Warriors Ministry exists to glorify God by praying without ceasing for the Pastor, officers, ministries & congregation of Mount Moriah Christian Church. Special attention is given to prayer requests from the sick & shut in as well as the bereaved.
